sometimes you just realize how much God has truly blessed you and it makes you smile like nothing else can.
things that seem like the end of the world when they happen (like moving away from the place you love) can lead to such great and amazing blessings (like meeting the best friend you have ever had).
so be thankful for what you’ve been given.
smile like you mean it.
and love the people you care for most with everything you have.
a little over 2 months until the freedom of summer. but this year, it won’t just be summer break; I’M GRADUATING!!! at this moment in time, i can think of few things that could possibly be as exciting as that. don’t get me wrong, i love my friends and my school is a fun place to be (as fun as a school can be, anyways). but i’m tired of being in pointless classes that i’m never going to use and i’m tired of being with the same people all the time.
i’m ready for UK (go cats!!!) next year. living in the dorms with katherine, not having the same classes everyday, and being a college kid in general is something i’m looking forward to.
but for right now, i’m going to enjoy the last memories of senior year. testing week where we “job shadow” (get our parents to sign a sheet saying that we followed the around at work), prom (i’m taking my best friend as my date. this should be exciting), the ease of school after AP tests are over, and then graduation.
after all of that gets over with, it’s time for summer: concerts, winchester, cedar point, mission trip, last church camp as a student, sun. i can’t wait.
freedom will taste so sweet.
